CR.EU – Creativity Europe

CR.EU – Creativity Europe is a newly established European Metacluster for Cultural and Creative Industries, created to connect and strengthen cooperation among creative ecosystems across Europe. The project brings together key organizations, clusters, and stakeholders from ten European countries – Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Lithuania, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, and Hungary – representing a wide range of sectors such as film, media, design, performing arts, technology, and innovation.

The main goal of CR.EU is to build a permanent platform for collaboration and dialogue between regional creative ecosystems and European institutions. By facilitating the exchange of best practices, fostering innovation, and encouraging cross-border cooperation, the project aims to enhance the competitiveness, visibility, and impact of Europe’s cultural and creative industries.

In addition to strengthening policy dialogue, CR.EU also focuses on promoting sustainability, digital transformation, and social inclusion. The network seeks to position the creative and cultural sectors as a driving force in Europe’s green and digital transition, supporting new opportunities for job creation, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic resilience.

As a project partner, the Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster represents Lithuania’s creative industries within the network, contributing its expertise in media innovation, audiovisual storytelling, and technology-driven collaboration. Through participation in CR.EU, the Cluster will engage in shaping future-oriented strategies, co-developing European initiatives, and building strong connections between the Baltic region and other creative hubs across the continent.
