Project goals

To strengthen the European cultural heritage ecosystem by fostering innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and the adoption of digital and sustainable solutions.

Project description

CR.EU IN HERITAGE is a European project dedicated to strengthening innovation within the cultural heritage value chain through cross-sectoral and cross-border collaboration. Bringing together cluster organisations, research institutions, business support organisations, and public stakeholders from across Europe, the project aims to unlock new opportunities for cultural heritage preservation, management, and valorisation.

The initiative promotes cooperation between Cultural and Creative Industries and a wide range of sectors, including digital technologies, tourism, construction, social economy, mobility, health, and agribusiness. By fostering knowledge exchange and innovation, CR.EU IN HERITAGE seeks to support the development of sustainable, competitive, and future-oriented cultural heritage solutions.

A key focus of the project is supporting SMEs through capacity building, networking activities, and funding opportunities that encourage the development of innovative products, services, and technologies for the cultural heritage sector. The project also contributes to strengthening European collaboration and increasing the visibility of cultural heritage as a driver of economic growth, sustainability, and social impact.

As a project partner, Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster represents Lithuania's cultural and creative sectors, contributing expertise in audiovisual innovation, digital storytelling, creative technologies, and international collaboration. Through the project, the Cluster works together with partners across Europe to develop new approaches that connect heritage, creativity, and innovation.
