The official launch event of the CR.EU.IN. HERITAGE project, organized by Innoskart Digital Cluster, took place in Budapest on 26-27 November 2025. This event marked not only the formal launch of the project, but also a new important milestone – real funding opportunities for innovations in the cultural heritage sector .

Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster plays a significant role in this process as one of the most active project partners and founders of the CR.EU metacluster. For our cluster, this is a new strategic step, strengthening the intersection of cultural heritage, creative industries and digital technologies in Europe.

Project: Innovation at the intersection of cultural heritage and creative industries

CR.EU.IN . HERITAGE aims to foster innovation where cultural heritage, creative industries and digital technologies meet, and most importantly, to channel EU funding directly to small and medium-sized enterprises .

One of the key highlights of the kick-off meeting was the preparation of the upcoming open calls , which will allow SMEs to receive direct financial support for innovative projects in the cultural heritage sector.

Results of two days of work

During the event, project partners, including Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster , will:

  1. discussed the main stages and tasks of the activity,

  2. aligned communication and brand strategies,

  3. selected the official project logo,

  4. strengthened the foundations of mutual cooperation, which will be particularly important for the progress of the project.

This partnership paves the way not only for the smooth implementation of the project, but also for practical benefits for businesses in the cultural heritage value chain.

What does this mean for companies in Lithuania's creative and cultural heritage sectors?

CR.EU.IN . HERITAGE will empower SMEs across Europe to:

  1. receive EU funding for new ideas,

  2. improve digital and creative skills,

  3. develop innovative projects that have economic and cultural impact.

More information about upcoming funding calls will be announced in the near future.

Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster is ready to actively inform and help Lithuanian companies take advantage of these opportunities.
